Arbor House Living in Fredericksburg, TX is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents across all shifts. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, administer medications, and provide companionship in assisted living, memory care, and home settings.

This role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. The ideal candidate has experience in senior care, good communication skills, and CPR/First Aid certification is desirable.

Formación

• Experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certification is desirable.
• Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility aids and with medication administration.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Provide companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Keep environments clean and safe through light housekeeping and EMR documentation.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or outings as needed.
