Job summary

Arbor House Living in Fredericksburg, TX seeks a compassionate Caregiver to support residents across mornings with a 5:45am-2:15pm shift. You will assist with ADLs, monitor wellness, and provide companionship in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care environments.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
• Ability to work across all shifts including weekends.
• CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature.
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Provide companionship and social engagement to promote mental well-being.
• Support residents with dementia using memory care techniques.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping.
• Document care activities using EMR and communicate with healthcare teams.
• Assist with transportation to appointments when qualified.
