Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certification is desirable.
• Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility aids and with medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Provide companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Keep environments clean and safe through light housekeeping and EMR documentation.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or outings as needed.
