Arbor House Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents across all shifts in a on-site setting in Horseshoe Bay, TX. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health indicators, and help with memory care for residents with dementia, while ensuring a safe, compassionate environment.

The role emphasizes medication safety, companionship, and collaboration with healthcare teams to promote residents’ well-being and quality of life.

Formación

• Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home care.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management.
• CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility aids like Hoyer lifts.
• Ability to work across all shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and record health status as needed.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Provide companionship and social engagement for mental well‑being.
• Support memory care for residents with dementia.
• Document care activities in EMR and coordinate with healthcare teams.
• Assist transportation to appointments when qualified.
