Job summary

Helping Hearts USA LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable night-shift caregivers to join our team. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, with full-time and part-time opportunities available; weekend coverage may be required.

Caregivers must remain fully awake and alert throughout the shift, complete safety checks, monitor the client, document care activities in real time, and provide care per the client's plan. Pre-interview document verification is required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and experienced night-shift caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bedtime and morning routines
• Providing toileting and incontinence care
• Changing protective undergarments and soiled linens
• Repositioning clients according to the care plan
• Performing required safety and wellness checks
• Monitoring clients who are at risk for falls or wandering
• Keeping pathways, floors and client areas free from hazards
• Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
• Preparing light meals, snacks or beverages
• Encouraging hydration
• Completing laundry and light housekeeping
• Cleaning and organizing the client’s living area
• Preparing clothing, supplies or meals for the following day
• Monitoring for changes in condition
• Completing accurate electronic documentation throughout the shift
• Providing a clear handoff to the incoming caregiver or approved representative
