Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking an Overnight Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver in Paulding County, GA. This role offers flexibility and work-life balance with a caregiver-focused schedule.

You will provide essential in-home personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor clients and report concerns, while building skills through online training. A $200 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and GA PCA Certificate (Interim can assist with certification).
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening within 12 months.
• Valid GA driver's license, auto insurance and personal transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
