Job summary

Community NeuroRehab is seeking a Brain Injury Specialist to support participants in our residential rehab facility. You will help address cognitive, physical, medical and psycho-social goals while fostering independence in daily living, learning, work and community involvement.

Ideal candidates have experience in human services or brain injury related fields and are pursuing related degrees. Extensive training and national CBIS certification are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with brain injury, mental illness or disability preferred.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks and a pre-employment screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support program participants in rehabilitation goals across cognitive, physical and behavioral areas.
• Assist participants in developing compensatory strategies to cope with brain injury symptoms.
• Collaborate with the team to promote safety and consistent programming in a residential setting.
