Job summary

Live Parallel is seeking an Overnight Packaging Supervisor at its Gainesville, FL facility to lead overnight packaging operations for cannabis products. You will supervise a team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time distribution while maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulations.

The role involves coordinating packaging across manual, semi-automatic, and automated equipment, monitoring output, and optimizing processes with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or production environments.
• Experience with manual, semi-automatic, and automated packaging equipment.
• Understanding of process manufacturing and production scaling principles.
• Experience with quality control systems, SOP compliance, and production documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with proven experience managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight packaging operations and lead a team to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Supervise manual, semi-automatic, and automated packaging equipment.
• Monitor daily production output and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Oversee packaging processes in accordance with SOPs and state regulations.
• Promote safety by enforcing procedures and addressing concerns.
• Manage daily inventory of packaging materials and ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with Facilities/Operations to resolve issues.
• Assist with scheduling and workload planning to support uninterrupted production.
• Evaluate process improvements and equipment enhancements with site leadership.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and compliance documentation.
