Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Packaging Technician in Florida to safely package and label cannabis products, ensuring strict adherence to cGMP and company standards. You will work within a team, supporting production goals while maintaining product integrity from processing to customers.

Responsibilities include accurate filling, labeling, and documentation, with emphasis on cleanliness, QA coordination, and timely record-keeping in a regulated cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-year experience in cannabis or packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate filling, packaging and labeling of all products ensuring compliance with company, local and state policies and procedures and product specifications.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure the safety and efficacy of all products.
• Maintain daily production schedule and goals set by Production Manager/Team Leads.
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment and areas; report potential contamination to a Team Lead.
• Document line inefficiencies and downtime; collaborate to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure process parameters and quality testing meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of production and quality records and electronic reporting tools.
• Foster a positive work environment and curiosity for all cannabis.
