Job summary

Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL is seeking an Overnight Security/Maintenance team member for a full-time shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. The role covers monitoring alarm systems, safety checks, trash removal, and campus patrols.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• One year of general building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
• Good mobility to perform security checks across buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to all building and campus alarm systems, including resident medical emergencies.
• Conduct temperature checks in boiler rooms and kitchens to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Remove resident trash from hallways and empty garbage, recycling, and soiled linen bins each shift.
• Patrol the campus, noting open garage doors, unlit post lights, and suspicious individuals or vehicles; take appropriate action.
• Support resident relations by addressing concerns promptly and communicating with the Facilities Supervisor.
