Job summary

The United Center in Chicago is seeking a Building Security Supervisor – Third Shift to oversee Security Officers on a night shift, ensuring a safe environment for all team members and guests across the campus.

This role requires leadership, timely incident reporting, and coordination with management, with a shift from 11 PM to 8 AM, plus opportunities for professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience or training.
• PERC Card certification, CPR & AED, and valid driver’s license.
• Stand, walk, and sit up to 1/3 of the workday; lift up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to supervise security team members during assigned shifts.
• Strong reading of safety rules, manuals, and ability to write reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, ensuring proper performance and compliance with duties and security procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and conduct patrols to ensure staff adherence and security of the property.
• Track time and attendance, address performance or attendance issues, and communicate key information to management.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, provide training to Security personnel, and oversee security across all United Center buildings.
• Be available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed.
