Job summary

United Center is seeking a Building Security Supervisor – Second Shift to lead the security team on 3PM-11PM in Chicago. You will supervise Security Officers, ensure compliance with procedures, and coordinate with management to maintain a safe venue for guests and staff.

The role requires reading safety rules, writing clear reports, strong communication, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. A 1-year certificate or related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent training.
• 3–6 months related experience or training accepted.
• PERC Card certification, CPR & AED, and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Stand, walk, and sit up to 1/3 of the day; lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, ensuring proper performance and security procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and conduct patrols to ensure staff adherence and security of the property.
• Track time and attendance, address performance or attendance issues, and communicate key information to management.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, provide training to Security personnel, and oversee security across all United Center buildings.
• Be available for overnight shifts and additional responsibilities as needed.
