UC Building Security at United Center is seeking a part-time security team member for evening shifts to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff during events.

The role requires security experience or a PERC card, strong communication, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Typical schedule includes evenings and weekends with roughly 20 hours per week and outdoor/indoor event conditions.

Formación

• Must have security experience and/or PERC card.
• Event experience or Criminal Justice studies preferred.
• Average work hours will total 20 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Create a safe and secure environment for guest and employees.
• Promote a family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safety.
• Visual search of guests and guests’ bags for prohibited items prior to admittance into facilities.
• Respond to exterior and interior radio calls.
• Using Security Vehicles for patrols and posts.
• Have complete knowledge of all facility policies and services.
• Be aware of safety hazards and reporting them appropriately.
• Have superior knowledge of facility services and physical layout.
• Facility policy enforcement.
• Documenting and reporting all unsafe and unpresentable circumstances within the work area.
