Job summary

The Security Dispatch Officer – 2nd Shift at United Center in Chicago will help create a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members by monitoring assigned areas.

Shift 3:45pm - 12:00am; duties include monitoring CCTV and alarms, operating dispatch communications, enforcing policies, conducting screenings and patrols with magnetometers and security vehicles, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well with large groups of people.
• Strong communication skills; English reading and speaking required.
• PERC Card certification and valid driver’s license.
• High school graduate or equivalent; 3–6 months related experience acceptable.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Monitor CCTV, door alarms and security systems.
• Operate dispatch communications; respond to guest concerns and document incidents.
• Enforce facility policies; monitor safety and cleanliness and resolve issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledge of the facility.
• Conduct screenings and patrols using magnetometers and security vehicles; stay active at posts.
