Associated Grocers, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician I & II to maintain, repair, and install facility infrastructure across our distribution center, offices, and campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of general repair work.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience with pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and air compressors.
• Ability to read equipment schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and air compressors.
• Repair plumbing systems including drains and valves.
• Repair electrical fixtures under 480V.
• Weld and fabricate parts from steel.
• Read equipment schematics to diagnose and repair components.
• Operate heavy equipment such as tuggers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain work orders and PM schedules.
