Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (2nd Shift) in Baton Rouge, LA to maintain an industrial laundry facility.

Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers; performing preventive maintenance and welding tasks; conducting boiler chemical testing and adjustments; addressing safety concerns and alarms; and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Perform welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Conduct boiler chemical testing and adjustments as needed.
• Respond to emergency alarms and safety concerns.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
