Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Denver is seeking a Guest Services Associate to help guests with luggage during arrival and departure, deliver items to guest rooms, transport packages, and shine shoes, delivering warmth and hospitality.

You will greet guests, handle requests, resolve inquiries, and support concierge operations with a professional, team-oriented approach. The role includes competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, 401k, and worldwide employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms; delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage during departure.

• Collects guest requests for newspapers and delivers them promptly.
• Greets guests in the lobby and offers assistance.
• Follows Four Seasons’ conduct standards and works harmoniously with colleagues.
• Performs errands requiring local travel for guests and hotel operations.
• Provides high cleanliness in lobby and luggage storage areas.
• Assists concierge desk guests and support door staff and valet duties as needed.

BASIC PURPOSE:

Assists guest with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels. Shines guest shoes.

Essential Functions

• Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
• Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.
• Collects guest requests for morning newspapers, places newspapers in bags and delivers the desired newspaper in a timely manner.
• Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.

Non-essential Functions

• Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room.
• Assists guests at the Concierge Desk.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Door Staff and Valet Parking Staff.
