Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team by stocking linen storage closets, delivering guest items, and assisting with room preparations.

You will move linen, stock supply rooms, and assist in turning rooms, while maintaining clean corridors and guest areas with a high level of hospitality and attention to detail. This full-time role requires physical stamina and a patient, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a related position; luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation.
• High level of attention to detail.
• English language required; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens.
• Picks up and delivers guest request items.
• Assists Guest Room Attendants and maintains cleanliness of corridors and linen storage areas.
• Interacts with guests with hospitality and attentiveness to special requests.
• Moves racks of linen and stocks storage rooms daily; assists in moving beds and furniture.

House Attendant

About The Role

The House Attendant is an integral part of the housekeeping team and is responsible for the stocking and inventory of linen storage closets, moving heavy furniture and delivering guest items to rooms to assist Room Attendants. They will assist the housekeeping team with preparing rooms and with removing dirty linen from guest rooms. They will clean patios on checkout rooms and any assigned cleaning projects as required.

What You Will Do

• Stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens
• Picks up and delivers guest request items
• Gives assistance to Guest Room Attendants as required; keeps all guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean at all times
• Interacts with guests making them feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality, accommodating any special requests
• Moves racks of clean Rooms linen to Guest Room floors. Stocks Linen Storage Rooms and Armoires daily with supplies and amenities. Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors
• Assists Housekeepers as required. Assists in moving beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes, or hangs sheers and drapes.
• Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis such as Irons, Ironing boards, Cribs and Roll-aways
• Responsible for all snow removal and debris from guest room patios
• To keep linen rooms tidy and correctly stocked and closed when not in use. Must ensure working equipment is always clean, tidy and in good working order
• To report to your managers anything or anyone suspicious and a Health and Safety hazard
• To carry out any other cleaning duties as specified by your manager.

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 + year previous experience required in related position; in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Have a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and working knowledge of English required and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a full-time position.
• A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends and holidays.
