Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is hiring BHTs for the third shift (11 PM–7 AM) at a 40-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehab. Join a warm, recovery-focused team nestled in the Poconos mountains.

You'll supervise daily operations, train staff, manage intake and client engagement, and ensure adherence to policies. We value leadership, empathy, and the ability to set firm boundaries; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
