Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring for Behavioral Health Technicians to support the second and third shifts at the Eastern Shore facility. You will help manage daily residential operations, supervise staff, and maintain a warm recovery environment for clients.

Qualified candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and at least one year of sobriety if in recovery. Strong leadership and empathetic communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
