Job summary

Clearview Treatment Programs seeks an entry-level Behavioral Health Technician in Venice, CA for part-time overnight shifts. The role supports clients, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and documents care in client records. Training and certification will be provided as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma and relevant certifications; prior experience with substance use or mental health issues is valued, along with a willingness to complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, drug and alcohol certification preferred, or a willingness to complete requirements within the orientation period.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to complete within the first 30 days of employment.
• Commitment to maintain continuing education requirements for certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine and select appropriate interventions based on client needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and group activities throughout the shift.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and performs regular room hygiene checks.
• Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Prompts attendance at meals and provides supervision at mealtimes.
