Job summary

Clearview Treatment Programs in southern California is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to support clients across shifts. The role focuses on maintaining a therapeutic milieu, ensuring safety, documenting in client records, and collaborating with the clinical team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least 1 year of experience with clients dealing with substance use or mental health concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to complete requirements within orientation.
• Currently CPR and First Aid certified; maintain certification.
• Minimum 1+ year experience with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients across shifts; support daily milieu and therapeutic environment.
• Document in client records and communicate with clinical team and supervisors.
• Assist with safety, crisis management, and adherence to DBT-informed practices.
• Assist with activities of daily living, transport, and group activities as needed.
