Clearview Treatment Programs is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the overnight Sunday through Thursday shift in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on maintaining a therapeutic milieu, ensuring client safety, and supporting DBT-informed care under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and CPR/First Aid certifications, with 1+ year experience in substance use or mental health settings.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma and active CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• 1+ year experience working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to complete required state trainings and continuing education.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine appropriate interventions.
• Engages clients in milieu activities and group settings.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and monitors daily hygiene.
• Documents services, incidents, and shift notes accurately.
• Maintains a therapeutic environment and models appropriate behavior.
• Provides crisis intervention and supports de-escalation when needed.
• Assists with client transportation to appointments as required.
• Supports medication management and orientation for new admissions.
