Job summary

Optimum Performance Institute in Woodland Hills, CA seeks an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to supervise residents during the night. You will conduct wellness checks, respond to needs and incidents, document observations, and support the treatment team to maintain a safe, structured environment.

The role requires overnight availability, a valid driver's license, and experience in residential or mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in residential treatment, mental health, or related setting preferred.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision and support within a residential behavioral health setting.
• Complete scheduled wellness and safety checks while monitoring resident behavior and well-being.
• Respond to resident needs, behavioral concerns, and crisis situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a safe, calm, and structured residential environment throughout the shift.
• Complete accurate and timely shift notes, observation logs, and incident documentation.
• Communicate relevant resident updates and concerns to the treatment team and incoming staff.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow OPI policies, safety standards, and privacy requirements.
