Job summary

The Willows (Fletcher, NC) at Red Oak Recovery is seeking a PRN Night Behavioral Health Technician to support overnight safety and care for residents. You will stay awake, monitor security, and coordinate with the day team to ensure smooth handoffs.

Qualifications include experience with recovery, mental health treatment, or wilderness therapy, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Higher medical certification and strong communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with 12 Step Recovery, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Treatment and/or Wilderness Therapy is preferred.
• Experience managing groups in a residential or wilderness setting is preferred.
• Recovery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake and alert during overnight shift.
• Receive nightly updates from outgoing team.
• Ensure campus, facilities and resident safety and security.
• Coordinate with morning team for overnight handoff.
• Verify alarms are set and functional.
• Perform security checks of the home.
• Monitor all facility areas and respond to incidents.
• Build rapport with residents and staff.
• Attend required trainings.
• Carry out night-time watches and safety protocols.
• Complete housekeeping and administrative duties as instructed.
• Safely secure and inventory medications.
• Provide emergency crisis intervention as needed.
