Northside Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct patient care and supportive services for patients with mental health needs. The role supports safety, comfort, and the therapeutic milieu in a fast-paced unit.

Requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field with 1 year of behavioral health experience, or 3 years in psychiatric settings. BLS certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field with 1 year in behavioral health, or 3 years in psychiatric settings.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders and chemically dependent patients.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients and maintain therapeutic milieu.
• May perform duties of Emergency Department Technician when needed.
