Qualifications

• Requires degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related behavioral health field with 1 year of behavioral health experience, or 3 years in psychiatric settings in a clinical/direct patient care job.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders.
• Support the safety and wellbeing of patients and maintain the therapeutic milieu.
• Attend to patient comfort and safety needs.
• May perform duties of an Emergency Department Technician as assigned.
