Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is hiring for a manufacturing team member to support pre-batch and blend operations for industrial and architectural colorants. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy in materials handling and batch processing.

Typical duties include operating high-speed mixers, HSDs, pumps, and forklifts, with daily production records and interdepartmental collaboration. Eligible for a robust benefits package and performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Have at least one year of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution facilities.
• Experience monitoring gauges, dials or machinery indicators.
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Experience monitoring quality of raw materials and finished goods.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyors).
• Experience mixing or blending raw materials in industrial batch processes.

Responsibilities

• Select, pull, measure, and stage raw materials for manufacturing.
• Follow batch slip instructions to incorporate raw materials in high-speed mixers to mix and blend batches.
• Make lab adjustments and maintain raw material samples from daily premixes.
• Operate paint-making control systems and equipment such as high-speed dispersers, pumps, valves, and forklifts.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Maintain equipment logs and report breakdowns promptly.
• Keep production records and reports as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools and work environment clean and organized daily.
