Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Prebatch Operator to assemble raw materials according to batch tickets, weigh out materials, label them, and move items into the inventory system. You will work on a 12-hour Night B shift (6:00pm–6:00am) in a paint/chemical manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include accurate material picks, forklift operation, warehouse maintenance, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. A bonus program applies based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Certified to operate forklift and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and/or check pre-weighted pigments and liquids per batch card, operate computer system.
• Execute accurate raw material picks by item, weight, and lot number using smart scale.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Label and return raw materials to correct locations.
• Follow batch slips to compound properly and maintain order of addition.
• Handle heavy materials (e.g., 500-pound drums, 50-pound bags).
• Complete an average of at least 3 raw material picks per hour on a 12-hour shift.
• Practice hazardous waste handling procedures and proper labeling.
