Job summary

Hilton College Station is seeking an Overnight Banquet Houseman to perform overnight setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning of banquet spaces. The role operates independently with strong self-direction, requiring endurance for an 8-hour shift and the ability to lift heavy objects.

This position includes detailed logging, coordination with Night Audit, and work across banquet storage, ballrooms, and rooftop areas.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work overnight hours.
• Own black pants, black shirt, and slip-resistant shoes.
• 6 months of banquet, hospitality, or custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Event Space Setup and Breakdown: Set and break banquet rooms per BEO specifications.
• Cleaning and Detail Work: Vacuum, mop, spot-clean carpets, fold linens, and deep clean areas between events.
• Logging and Cross-Departmental Reporting: Complete the assignment and log sheet; submit to Night Audit.
• All other duties as assigned.
