Hy-Vee in Bloomington is seeking a friendly and skilled Baker to join our Bakery Department. You’ll prepare, bake, and fry department products, manage production schedules, and assist customers with a helpful smile throughout the store.

As a lead in the bakery, you’ll guide clerks, ensure product freshness, maintain sanitation, and follow Hy-Vee guidelines. Previous bakery experience is preferred; 18+ and overnight shifts required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with needs throughout the store.
• Prepare, bake, and fry department products; manage proofing and shelf readiness.
• Lead and guide bakery clerks; ensure freshness and proper merchandising.
• Maintain sanitation and safe working conditions in the bakery area.
• Review product labeling and ensure safety and proper signage.
