Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Awake Counselor for its Developmental Disabilities residential program in Lexington.

This role requires the night shift coverage, staying awake and alert to support adults with intellectual disabilities and assist with daily living tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring residents, helping with morning routines, administering medications, and documenting concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support residents during night hours, providing assistance as needed.
• Assist with morning routines including meal prep, hygiene, and related tasks.
• Administer medications in accordance with regulations.
• Perform housekeeping and personal care tasks as needed.
• Provide training to promote personal growth and social connections.
• Report significant health, safety, and behavioral concerns.
