Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Worcester, MA is seeking an Awake Overnight Counselor to provide guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours while helping individuals with morning routines and daily living activities.

You will promote health, safety, and independence in a clean, safe environment, practice crisis intervention when needed, implement health and medication protocols, assist with transportation, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours.
• Assist individuals with morning routines and daily living activities.
• Implement health, medical, and medication protocols in accordance with agency policies.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and coordinating travel needs, as required.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Respond to emergencies using crisis intervention techniques as needed.
