Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Maintenance Technician II for an on-site distribution facility in Colorado Springs. You will repair, maintain, and improve material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across a high‑volume operation, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of automated packaging and distribution processes.

The role is hands-on, with an overnight Sunday–Wednesday shift, contracted to hire. The pay is $32.50 per hour, and you will troubleshoot complex equipment, document maintenance, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with material handling equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing automated equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with pneumatic systems and related components.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, instructions, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment to ensure consistent and efficient facility operations.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize work orders and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines while working on automated equipment and machinery.
