Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician I for the Day Shift (7:00am–7:00pm, Sat/Sun) based in Pueblo, Colorado. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and ensures production and quality by maintaining machinery and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, fabricating repair parts, following maintenance schedules, and performing inspections and lubrication to prevent unplanned downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow diagrams, manuals, and specs to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Follow maintenance schedules and document activities accurately.
• Inspect, lubricate, and calibrate equipment to prevent downtime.
• Repair electrical motors, wiring, and components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and replace worn parts.
• Perform hydraulic maintenance and boiler/chiller compressor support.
• Fabricate and weld as needed.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
