Job summary

Sysco in Aurora, CO seeks an Operations professional responsible for performing and managing routine and high-level maintenance duties and other jobs assigned. Assists with material handling equipment and facility repairs.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, ability to troubleshoot electrical power and control systems, read schematics, and work nights and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of single and three phase electricity (AC/DC) at high and low voltages.
• Experience in facility maintenance; food processing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical power and control systems, bearings, motors, belts and moving parts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and identify root causes.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assemble, install, repair, modify and adjust small operating equipment.
• Disassemble equipment, replace parts, relocate and reassemble.
• Provide technical guidance to team members on repairs and maintenance.
• Able to work night shifts and occasional weekends.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
