The position includes responsibilities at the front desk, auditing nightly charges, balancing accounts, and ensuring smooth end-of-day procedures in the PMS. Benefits include health, vision, retirement plans, and hotel staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Knows how to operate PMS, PCs, and other front office equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Processes guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers.
• Post charges to guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Verify that all transactions are properly posted and allocated in the PMS system.
• Prints and files reservations for the next business day.
• Verifies account postings and balances.
• Balance the day’s charges and perform end of day procedures.
• Perform wake-up calls and run end of day process in PMS.
• Respond to guest needs and notify management of issues.
