Job summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.

He/she is also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of progressive hotel experience is required.
• Guest Service Experience is required.
• Computer knowledge/skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile hotel cashier transactions and audit financial and statistical reports.
• Review, organize and compile management reports on a timely basis and ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Assist guests with check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations as required.
• Communicate concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Input and update financial information into the corporate communications network and keep management informed of unusual events.
