Job summary

Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight financial processes and ensure seamless guest experiences. You will balance and finalize all hotel transactions, respond to issues, and support Front Desk operations while maintaining strict accuracy and security.

The role requires strong attention to detail, a solid accounting mindset, and the ability to act as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Accounting background is a plus but not required; prior night audit/front desk experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Opera PMS and MS Office applications; attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and reconcile daily hotel activity across departments, ensuring accuracy before close.
• Balance cash and house transactions; verify outlets are ready for the next day.
• Audit Front Desk activity including room revenue, deposits, and folio balances for billing accuracy.
