Job summary

Share Medical Center seeks an Overnight Attendant for The Homestead in Alva, OK, to ensure safety and well-being of residents during the overnight shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.).

You will respond to emergencies, follow procedures, monitor access, secure areas, document incidents, and communicate with leadership while upholding HIPAA confidentiality. This role requires staying onsite and coordinating with staff to support residents and families.

The Overnight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well‑being of residents during overnight hours. This role responds promptly to emergency calls and resident needs, follows established emergency and fire procedures, and maintains clear communication with leadership during critical situations such as severe weather. The attendant monitors building access, secures entrances and common areas, answers facility and emergency phone lines, and provides appropriate assistance to residents and family members. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate incident logs, supporting a safe and secure environment, and upholding strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

This position requires the ability to remain onsite in The Homestead apartment throughout the overnight shift (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).
