Kitchen Guard of Birmingham is seeking an Overnight Shift - Associate Hood Cleaning Technician to join our night operations. You will be part of a two-person team led by a Foreman, focusing on cleaning kitchen exhaust systems.

The role requires physical stamina for long shifts, safe ladder access, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Be physically able to climb ladders to access rooftops.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs., up to 100 feet.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and work efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, filters and fans.
• Set up and takedown of job sites and equipment efficiently.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and report discrepancies promptly.

Please note: This role is an overnight shift -- typically from 8-10pm check-in and between 4-7am check-out. Competitive compensation to reward the overnight work. Candidates with overnight work experience are strongly preferred. This will be a full-time position working 40-55 hours per week. This individual will be working with a Lead Foreman as a two-man team on night jobs.

Job Summary

As a Overnight Shift - Associate Hood Cleaning Technician you'll be at the heart of our operations. Responsibilities include:

• Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
• Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
• Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Maintaining and managing equipment, and reporting any discrepancies.

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
• Ability to squat, lift and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
• Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
