Job summary

Kitchen Guard of DMV is seeking an overnight operations supervisor to lead the night shift, ensure safety, and maintain high service standards in commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning. You will guide staff, coordinate routes, and partner with other departments to deliver seamless service.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and strict adherence to safety policies, with opportunities for advancement and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management responsibility.
• Hood Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Organization skills and time management skills.
• Previous experience working nights a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the overnight department making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines outlined in the employee handbook, as well as enforcing policies and procedures, coaching, training, and correcting where needed.
• Direct and oversee all operations during the night shift to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Assist in Conducting Briefings for all staff during Night Shift.
• Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
• Manage the night shift route, ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assist overnight crew with exhaust cleaning (power washing, scraping, wiping down equipment, vacuuming, climbing ladders, hinging fans, covering kitchen equipment in plastic, etc. as needed
• Must actively participate in decision-making processes when issues arise to ensure seamless service.
• Should show initiative, problem-solving ability, staff training, and team-leading skills
• Be aware and able to enforce all safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
• Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
