Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking an Elite Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver to serve and safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. You will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

You must hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, have 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience or 5 years of armed security, a valid driver’s license, be at

Qualifications

• At least 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and solicit additional assistance or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for suspicious behavior, report observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain firearms qualifications and carry equipment in accordance with rules and client requirements.
