Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a dedicated Front Office/Night Audit team member to ensure accurate postings and smooth operations across the hotel outlets. You will perform daily audit functions, review postings, and back-up front office systems, while upholding company policies and delivering warm, professional guest service.

Responsibilities include nightly audit of room and tax postings, daily system rebuilds, and ensuring timely, accurate check-ins and check-outs.

• Review room and tax postings for accuracy and correct errors.
• Back-up front office computer system and night audit program daily.
• Rebuild front office system, reservations, and related software as needed.
• Follow management accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Provide accurate and clear directions to guests for room locations and assist with check-ins/outs as part of standard front desk duties.

Job description

• Perform all daily audit functions for front office and each outlet of the hotel.
• Review room and tax posting on computer or register for accuracy, immediately correcting any errors. Ensure all house charges are posted accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Complete back-up of front office computer system and night audit program daily (if applicable).
• Complete the rebuild of the front office system, reservation and other related computer maintenance (if applicable).
• Understand, know and follow management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, PBX operation, answering calls within 3 rings, etc. Guests should be treated promptly, warmly, courteously and professionally. Accurate and clear directions to room locations should be given.
