Job summary

Eaton in Middlesex, NC is hiring an Overnight Specialty Machine Operator to set up and run wire-winders, yarn winders and braiders for braided hose production, primarily aerospace. You’ll work 4x10s from 8 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday through Wednesday, with overtime as needed.

This role requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years of manufacturing experience, ability to read work orders and perform quality checks, plus familiarity with ERP systems and computer transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and specifications.
• Proficient in basic computer transactions and ERP usage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire-winders, yarn winders and braiders for braided hose.
• Move materials and operate equipment per routing and setup sheets.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose (OD/ID, layline) and document results.
• Maintain equipment including tension checks, roller checks and routine maintenance.
• Follow safety, 5S+ and TPM practices and participate in CI events.
