Daniel Memorial is seeking a Residential Counselor to support adolescent clients in a behavioral health setting during overnight hours (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.).

The role is part-time and located in Jacksonville, FL, offering an hourly wage of $16.00 to $18.00. The position emphasizes crisis intervention, strong communication, and compassionate care as part of the treatment team, with duties including daily living activities, documentation, and ensuring safety and adherence to guidelines.

Formación

• AA degree REQUIRED with at least 1 year experience with at-risk children / mental health experience.
• Must be able to effectively use crisis intervention techniques.
• Valid Florida driver's license in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides care and treatment as outlined in the client's treatment plan as part of the treatment team.
• Implements activities of daily living, maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Maintains clients' hygiene and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Sets limits with clients appropriately and escorts them to activities or appointments.
• Keeps accurate documentation in client files and weekly summaries.
• Relates respectfully to clients, parents, peers, and the public.
• Ensures medications are administered accurately and documented.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
