Job summary
Atlas Energy Solutions, based in Texas, is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the build and startup of a novel overland conveyor in West Texas. The role leads construction, commissioning and ongoing maintenance, coordinating with engineers, procurement, and operations to meet safety and performance goals.
The position requires strong leadership, extensive conveyor experience, and the ability to manage design reviews, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- Strong technical and leadership experience.
- Ability to read, understand and redline drawings and schematics.
- Procurement and warehouse experience.
- Extensive experience operating and maintaining conveyor systems.
- Experience with operating and maintaining long overland conveyors.
- Experience overseeing engineering designs and managing 3rd party engineering firms.
- Experience developing and tracking budgets.
- Experience in equipment reliability and condition monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Manage the construction, commissioning, and startup of overland conveyors.
- Review designs for new conveyor construction for maintainability.
- Build the Maintenance, Operations and support departments.
- Manage project progress reports, schedules, risks, costs, logistics, resources and technical objectives.
- Coordinate with Executive Team and stakeholders on updates.
- Lead maintainability and constructability reviews with major stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
