Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions, based in Texas, is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the build and startup of a novel overland conveyor in West Texas. The role leads construction, commissioning and ongoing maintenance, coordinating with engineers, procurement, and operations to meet safety and performance goals.

The position requires strong leadership, extensive conveyor experience, and the ability to manage design reviews, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Procurement and warehouse experience.
• Extensive experience operating and maintaining conveyor systems.
• Experience with operating and maintaining long overland conveyors.

• Experience in equipment reliability and condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

How you will make an Impact:

Technical ManagerAtlas Energy is in search of a Technical Manager to oversee the build and startup of one of a kind overland conveyor in West Texas. The Conveyor Supervisor will drive the build, commissioning and maintenance of this new transport delivery system. This opportunity is a rare chance to create from the ground floor. This role is multifaceted, high impact and imperative to the success of Atlas Energy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and startup of overland conveyors
• Review the designs for new conveyor construction to make sure it is built in a maintainablefashion
• Build the Maintenance, Operations and support departments
• Manage project progress reports, schedules, risks, costs, logistics, resources and technicalobjectives required to meet stakeholder's expectations and corporate financial goals
• Participate in scheduled updates with Executive Team and stakeholders
• Organize and conduct maintainability and constructability reviews with all major stakeholdersprior to project execution
• Project management ensuring projects are executed in full compliance with all regulatoryrequirements of the OSHA and MSHA
• Coordinate multiple engineering design/supply organizations
• Ensure construction permits is in place in compliance with local regulations
• Lead the development and implementation of short, mid, and long-term engineering planningand structures in support of project development and construction activities.
• Participate in negotiations with vendors and contractors for purchases of equipment, materialand supplies, services and rental of equipment, and resolve budget, schedule and quality issues
• Manage all efforts related but not limited to earthworks, concrete and structural works, steelerection, piping, electrical distribution, instrumentation and DCS, equipment installation,commissioning and startup
• Track plant reliability and carry out improvements to optimize equipment availability
• Execution and monitoring of the project to performance objectives

Qualifications:

• Strong technical and leadership experience
• Ability to read, understand and redline drawings and schematics
• Procurement and warehouse experience-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point-Extensive experience operating and maintaining conveyor systems, minimum of 7 years-Solid experience managing fixed and mobile equipment maintenance crews-Experience with operating and maintaining long overland conveyors-Experience overseeing engineering designs and managing 3rd party engineering firms-Experience developing and tracking budgets-Experience in equipment reliability and condition monitoring
