Job summary

The Wittern Group is seeking a Welder - Overhead to perform a variety of duties related to welding machine parts and related tasks as assigned by the supervisor. The role requires reading and following instructions, operating overhead welding equipment, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, ensuring quality, and keeping work areas clean. High school diploma or GED is required; lifting up to 75 lbs and PPE use are expected in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain electrodes on overhead welder.
• Follow verbal or written instructions and obtain supplies as needed.
• Review quality of parts and report deviations.
• Operate spot welders, grinders, and sanders as part of cabinet line.
• Maintain safety standards and wear PPE.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Desire to learn and work with dependable effort.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
