Entertimeonline is seeking an experienced Welder - Overhead in Des Moines, IA. The role involves welding machine parts, setting up overhead welders, and performing related tasks as directed by the supervisor.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the ability to stand for long periods. Candidates should be prepared to work with PPE and maintain quality standards in a union environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with welding processes or overhead welding is preferred.

Mansioni

• Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Set up, operate and maintain electrodes on an overhead welder.
• Review quality of parts and note deviations from approved part.
• Report deviations to supervisor.
• Operate spot welders, grinders, sanders and other equipment used on the cabinet line.
• Wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision and ensure quality work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper care of equipment.
